HomeMy Public PortalAbout371CITY OF MEDINA ORDINANCE NO.371 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 825.07 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE DEFINITION OF BUILDING HEIGHT The City Council of the City of Medina Ordains as Follows: SECTION I: Sections 825.07, Subd. 12., of the Medina Code of Ordinances is amended to add the underlined text and deleting the material shown in strikethrough as follows: CHAPTER 8 LAND AND BUILDING REGULATIONS 825. ZONING - ADMINISTRATION 825.07. Definitions. The following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them: Subd. 12. Building Height - The vertical distance measured from the building —footprint average grade around the building (points measured every 10 feet around the building), to the top cornice of a flat roof, to the deck line of a mansard roof, to a point on the roof directly above the highest point of a shed roof, to the uppermost point on a round or -similar arch roof, oints of-th * gahle hip roof and to the mean elevation between the eave and peak for the highest pitched, hipped or gambrel roof. If the average grade exceeds the building's grade along the front of the lot by more than three feet, the lowest grade shall be used. SECTION H — Effective Date of Ordinance.
