AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMONDv INDIAtIA9 CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS
THERETO, DESCRIBING THE, SAME, PROVIDING FOR:THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING
THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That the following described territory be annexed to and declared to be
a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana.
Being a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section Three (3)', Township
Thirteen (13) North, Range One (1) Viest, in Wayne Townshipq Wayne
County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Hale Terrace Sub -Division,
First Addition, as recorded in Plat Book Number Nine (9),.Page Two
Hundred Seventy-five (275), in the records of the 'Jayne County
Indiana Recorder, and running thence, from said beginning -point,
south zero (0) degrees and forty-three (43) minutes west, along
the east line of said First Addition$ three hundred four (304) feet;
thence south fifty-nine (59) degrees and twelve (12) minutes east,
along the east line of said First Addition, one hundred thirty-four (134)
feet; thence south forty-four (44) degrees and forty-eight (48) minutes
east, along the east line of said First Addition, two hundred seventy-four
and eighty-five hundredths (274.85) feet; thence south zero (0) degrees
and thirty-three (33) minutes west, along the east line of said Fir ' st
Addition, two hundred fifty-six and sixty hundredths (256.60) feet to the
southeast corner of said First Addition; thence south eighty-nine (89)
degrees and twenty-seven (27) minutes east, four hundred twenty-four(424)
feet; thence north zero (0) degrees and thirty-three (133) minutes east,
one hundred seventy-five (175) feet; thence south.eightf;nine (n)
degrees and twenty-seven (27) minutes west, forty-four 4) feet;
thence north zero (0) degrees and fort'y,three (43) minutes east, six
hundred fort -four and nineteen hundredths (644.19) feet; thence north
eighty-nine 9) degrees and seventeen (17) minutes west, six hundred
ninety-two (692) feet to the place of beginning) containing an area of
ten and thirty-three hundredths (10.33) acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after Its
passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this 1.9 day of
1968.
