JOINT FACILITIES OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
November 11, 2021
Attendees: Winter Park Ranch: Dan Carroll, Melinda McWilliams and Ryan Weier
Town of Fraser: Mayor Philip Vandernail and Eileen Waldow
Grand County #1: Art Ferrari, Jeremy Henn and Warren Hill
Others Present: Jim Fox, Buff Borras, Gene Riordan, Ed Cannon, Joe Fuqua, Beth Williams
Roll call was taken and the meeting was called to order by Mayor Vandernail at 3:07 p.m.
August 12, 2021 Agenda: Art Ferrari moved to approve the November 11, 2021 agenda; this motion was seconded by Melinda McWilliams. Motion carried 7-0.
Minutes of August 12, 2021: Art Ferrari moved to approve the August 12, 2021minutes as presented; the motion was seconded by Eileen Waldow. Motion carried 7-0.
Ryan Weier with Winter Park Ranch arrived at 3:11pm.
Solar Upate:
Joe Fuqua gave the update and discussed the cost of the project and the use of the Mountain Parks Electric credits and the low-cost loan with them.
Industrial Pretreatment Program Update:
Joe Fuqua gave an updated on the status of the progress with GeoTech
Project N Update:
Joe Fuqua mentioned that there will be a meeting on November 19th to discuss the sampling, design, and the cost savings with this project. Northern Water will be paying for the sampling
and testing for this project.
Project P Update:
Joe Fuqua said that everything is working except for a few minor fixes; flushing pipes, fix generator equipment & pipe install and equalization basin fixes.
Quarterly Meeting Proposal:
Ed Cannon suggested having quarterly meetings beginning February 10th. Everyone mutually agreed.
Other Business & Updates: No other business or updates given.
Adjourn: Melinda McWilliams moved and Art Ferrari seconded the motion to adjourn the JFOC meeting at 3:26 pm. Motion carried 8-0.
