HomeMy Public PortalAbout03-14-2019DAVE SNOW Nlayor BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY VICKI ROBINSON President RICHARD FOORE Member EMILY PALMER Member AGENDA BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA THURSDAY, MARCH 14, 2019; 5:00 PM CALL TO ORDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR MARCH 7, 2019 CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT REQUESTS BID OPENINGS • TRAINING FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS BID AWARDS CONTRACTS • CONTRACT NO. 37-2019 — NEWBERRY CONSTRUCTION The replacement of the Railroad Spur Crossing at Primex Plastics at North 121" Street Not to exceed $31,259.00 • CONTRACT NO. 38-2019 — KOORSEN FIRE & SECURITY, INC D/B/A/ PRO AIR MIDWEST, LLC To provide services in connection with the air compressor maintenance and air quality samples on Mako, Bauer, and Eagle Equipment for the Richmond Fire Department Not to exceed $3,920.00 during each yearly term of the agreement. • CONTRACT NO. 39-2019 — LWC, INC To provide construction administration services in in connection with the City of Richmond's Stellar Restoration Project Not to exceed $99,900.00 • CONTRACT NO. 40-2019 — TOM HUTCHINGS This a sublease agreement between the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County and Tom Hutchings to sublease the tillable acreage in the Midwest Industrial Park. Mr. Hutchings shall pay $190.00 per tillable acre, per year. The terms of the lease will begin March 15, 2019 and end December 31, 2020 with the terms being the same as other agreements with other Congressmen. The monthly fee is $100.00 CHANGE ORDERS ADDENDUMS • ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO CONTRACT NO. 87-2018 — RINEHART'S LAWN CARE To continue to provide mowing services for the City -owned right-of-way properties for the City as set forth within the contract for the 2019 calendar year with a 3% increase of the hourly rate that is in the renewal option of the contract., • ADDENDUM NO 1 TO CONTRACT NO. 55-2018 — G.R.F. & SONS, INC This is to extend the contract for the calendar year 2019 to continue to provide mowing services for the nuisance properties as set forth within the contract. The rates and the terms of the contract will remain the same. • ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO CONTRACT NO. 123-2018 — BELLEFEUIL,SZUR & ASSOCIATES, INC (BSA) This is to amend said Agreement to allow Contractor to assist with the implementation of (Phase II) related applications for the Community Development components of the software suite. Not to exceed $121,830.00.
