A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF PURCHASE OFFER
TO CCA SCHOOL BOARD FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
Whereas, The City recognizes that Prairie Trail West needs to have an access aligned
with Deer View for future development and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that an agreement needs to be
agreed upon between all parties in order for said purchase offer, land transfer and
agreement to be completed. The purchase price is $20,000 and Prairie Trail West shall
reimburse the City for all of said purchase price as part of escrow agreement for
completion of their project;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
submission of purchase offer to CCA School Board for review and approval.
On the 08th day of January, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014 -004, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING SUBMISSION OF PURCHASE OFFER TO CCA SCHOOL BOARD FOR
REVIEW AND APPROVAL and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Petersen.
Ayes: Petersen, Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014 -004, A RESOLUTION APPROVING
SUBMISSION OF PURCHASE OFFER TO CCA SCHOOL BOARD FOR REVIEW
AND APPROVAL to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 08TH day of January, 2014.
