RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET,
IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 13 -214 ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 21, 2013
WHEREAS, on November 21, 2013, the Borough adopted Resolution No. 13 -214
conditionally designating HC Redevelopment, LLC ( "HC "), an affiliate of Hampshire
Real Estate Companies, as the redeveloper of a portion of the Federal Boulevard
Redevelopment Area, Phase I consisting of Block 2801, Lots 1, 2 & 3 (formerly Block
64.01, Lots 1, 2/5 & 3) under the New Jersey Local Redevelopment and Housing Law,
N.J.S.A. 40A: 12A- I et seq.; and
WHEREAS, the Borough desires to amend Resolution No. 13 -214 to extend HC's
conditional designation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of Borough of Carteret, in the County of Middlesex and the State of New Jersey,
as follows:
Section 1. The aforementioned recitals are incorporated herein as though fully set
forth at length.
Section 2. Section 2 of Resolution No. 13 -214 is hereby deleted and replaced in
its entirety with the following:
"The within designation is hereby made for a limited period of time and shall expire on
December 31, 2014, unless the Borough and HC execute a redevelopment agreement
prior to that date, and is further contingent upon HC providing any additional project
related information as may be requested by the Borough."
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 25, 2014.
