ORDINANCE NO. 2100-1965
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIAITE THE SUM OF FORTY-EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS, FROi.i THEE GENERAL FUND
CASH OPERATING, TO FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET FUND ACCOUNT NO. M-9 (2-25-252), REPAIRS OF
E QUIPi11ENT .
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the ex-
isting annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more morey for the various
functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget.
SECTIOAi 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY ThE 001-%_ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIChiliOND, INDIANA, that for
the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31,
1965, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund
named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the
same. Such amounts appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to
be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.' .
SECTION 2. That for said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated the following specified
amount to r.ieet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist:
Fire Department Budget Account
No. ICI-9 (2-25-252), Repairs of Equipment

SECTION 3. ITHE_FAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have un-
obligated balances wr'nich will not be used for the purpose which appropriated.

appropriations be now reduced in amounts as follows, and the same appropriated to the
above named item:

SECTION 4.-An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full_ force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
