AN ORDINANCE: 'AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472a1953a CO3M11T ?NLY KN0XTN AS THE
ZONING 0RDIl PNICE OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED APRIL' 21 t, 1953.
RE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Clay of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION. 1,, INVEREAS, Ordinance No,, 1472-1953, coarmonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of Richmond, Indiana and the Zone Map made a part thereof
desribed and designated as SURBURBAN RESIDENTIAL, the following described
territory in the Two mile jurisdictional area in Center Towinship, lkayne
County, Indiana, to -wit
The property requested to be rezoned is niore patricular y
described as follows, to -wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Three (3). Town-
ship Sixteen (16) North, Range Fourteen (14) East in Canter
toWns'hipr, tJcgyne County.,, indiana and being riore part iculary
described as follow3:
Deginni.ng at a paint five (5) feet north of the North Right
of vjay of sneer State Highway 70, s;.,id five 'eei dieing meas-
ured from a point in said no�:th right of way which is located
by running east frog: the northwest corner of said quarter
ninety-one and six tenths (91,,6) rods and t€eve- south eighty-
three and seven tenths (83o7) roods to said nortin right of way

two (42) feet; thence east five (5) feet; thence south .forty

WHEREIS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change "the use of said
territory to LOCAL BUSINESS
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTI01 2,,- It is hereby ord fined that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone clap be, and the same is hereby changed covering
the above described territory to LOCAL BUSINESS and that said territory
and the use and area thereof be regulated accordiniy,;
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect front and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publications by law required.
