AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1781-19609 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THEICITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1208-19409 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANC_ES,AND SECTIONS
OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City `of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 1781-19609 Article I. Section 1-4 is amended
to read as follows:
Section 1-4. Bicycle: Every device propelled by human power upon
which any person may ride having two tandem wheels either of which
is more than 15 inches in diameter.
SECTION 2: Ordinance No. 1781-19609 Article XI, Sections 11-2, 11-3,
11-49 11-59 11-6, 11-7 and 11-8, are hereby specifically repealed.
SECTION 3: Ordinance No. 1781-1960, Article XI, Section 11-9 is
amended to read as follows:
Section 11-9. Rental Agencies: A rental agency shall not rent or offer
any bicycle for rent unless the bicycle'is equipped with the lamps and
other equipment required in this article.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor of the City of Richmond,
Indiana.
