RESOLUTION APPROVNG FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S
3 1d of JULY FESTIVAL AND
ETHNIC DAY FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believes that
having a fireworks display at the 3 rd of July Festival and the Ethnic Day Festival
would be an enjoyable way to enhance the event and an appropriate symbol of
commtuuty pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is necessary for
the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that die Mayor and Borough Clerk be
and is hereby authorized to execute such documents as necessary to obtain any
and all permits to facilitate the 3` of July Festival and the Ethnic Day Festival'
fireworks display.
Adopted this 24 day of April, 2014
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 25, 2014.
