EXTENDING CONTRACT FOR DISPOSAL OF
GARBAGE AND TRASH REFUSE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution I1 -43 the bid for the Collection, Removal and
Disposal of Garbage and Trash Refuse was awarded to Suburban Disposal, Inc. the
lowest bidder at $491,000.04; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret to enter into an additional year of the contract; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret that the Contract for Collection, Removal and Disposal of Garbage and Trash
Refuse be awarded to:
SUBURBAN DISPOSAL, INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough Treasurer has'certified that funds are
or will be available for said contract.
Adopted this 24" day of April, 2014
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 25, 2014.
