IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Chandler Street and Burnham Street,
The Town of Watertown has contracted the services of Commonwealth Construction and
Utilities, Inc. to perform test pits to determine soil conditions and repair sections of the sewer
and drain pipes on Chandler Street and Burnham Street. This work is part of ongoing efforts by
the Town to improve our sewer and drain system infrastructure and is scheduled to begin
WEATHER PERMITTING on Monday, April 22, 2019. The method of repair will require the
Contractor to replace the pipes by excavation methods. This work is also being performed in
advance of road reconstruction activities scheduled for later this year.
Please note that during the construction period there will be no parking allowed on the street
and driveway access may be interrupted. The Police Department has been notified of the
construction work in the area.
The Contractor will attempt to accommodate all residents to minimize the impact during
construction.
