A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE, CHAPTER 52,
TO ADD HEIGHT OF GRASS RESTRICTIONS
Whereas, The City recognizes that it needs more clarification regarding weeds and
noxious growths regarding grass height in the Code of Ordinances and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a public hearing on 02/26/14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tiffin City Hall to get information
and feedback of such an amendment.
On the 12th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014 -011, A RESOLUTION
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE, CHAPTER 52, TO ADD HEIGHT OF GRASS
RESTRICTIONS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Petersen.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels
Nays: Upton
Absent: none.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014 -011, A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
MUNICIPAL CODE, CHAPTER 52, TO ADD HEIGHT OF GRASS RESTRICTIONS to
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of February, 2014.
