ORDINANCE NO. /%% -1965
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGING OF THE NAMES AND THE RENAMING
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That the name of that street now known and designated as
Williamsburg Pike, running from Sheridan Street to the intersection
of the Williamsburg Pike and Rich Road in the City of Richmond, Indiana,
be, and the name of said street is hereby changed to Sheridan Street
and said street is hereby renamed and designated as Sheridan --Street.
SECTION 2. That the name of that street now known and designated as
Union Pike, running from the intersection of Northwest 5th Street and
Williamsburg Pike to the north corporate limits of the City of Rich-
mond, Indiana, be, and the name of said street is hereby changed to
Northwest 5th Street and said street is hereby renamed and designated
as Northwest 5th Street.
SECTION 3. That the Clerk of the said City of Richmond, Indiana, is
hereby ordered and directed to record a certified copy of this
Ordinance in the office of the Recorder of Wayne County, Indiana.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
