A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE WATER ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 91/92,
TO ALLOW FOR YARD WATERING METERS
Whereas, The City recognizes that to allow temporary yard watering meters the Water
Ordinance needs to be amended and a public hearing held prior to adoption and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a public hearing for 02/26/14 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the allowance of the yard
watering meters.
On the 12th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014 -012, A RESOLUTION
AMENDING THE WATER ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 91/92, TO ALLOW FOR YARD
WATERING METERS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014 -012, A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
WATER ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 91/92, TO ALLOW FOR YARD WATERING
METERS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of February, 2014.
