POLICY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NAPA RENUMBERING POLICY RESOLUTION NO. 152 RELATIVE
TO POLICY IN CONNECTION WITH PROCESSING APPLICATIONS
FOR OUTSIDE WATER SERVICE (AGREEMENT TO ANNEX)
WHEREAS, on June 17, 1957, the City Council adopted Policy Resolution No.
3 establishing policy with reference to agreements to annex in connection with applications for
outside water service; and
WHEREAS, from time to time said policy is reviewed by City Staff and revisions
become necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Napa has established a policy
requiring certain applicants for water service to sign an "Agreement to Annex" before water
service will be established in certain areas; and
WHEREAS, the approval of said "Agreement to Annex" need not delay the
connection of water service where all provisions of the established water service policy of the
City Council have been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Napa, State of California, as follows:
Section 1. That Policy Resolution No. 138, adopted December 18, 1984, is
hereby rescinded.
Section 2. That Policy Resolution No. 152 is hereby renumbered to Policy
Resolution No. 13.
Section 3. That the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized at his discretion
to approve "Agreements to Annex" for outside water service applications in accordance with
established City Council policy for water service to land not within the City limits where said
"Agreements to Annex" are required to be filed.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 3rd day of December, 1985, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Wagenknecht, Shenk, Joell, Crawford and Pelusi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
Editor's Note: Policy Resolution No. 152 was renumbered to Policy Resolution No. 13
by the City Council of the City of Napa at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 21st day of July, 1987, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Wagenknecht, Shenk, Corsello, Huber and Pelusi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
