IDLLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
NOVEMBER 29, 1999
7:00 PM, Police Department Training Room
The Hillsborough Town Board held a special meeting on November 29, 1999 at 7:00 PM in the
Police Department Training Room for the purpose of interviewing candidates for an appointment
to the Town Board. Present for the Board Meeting were Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr.,
Commissioners Frances Dancy, Richard Simpson, Evelyn Lloyd, Mark Sheridan, and Kenneth
Chavious. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson and Planning Director Margaret
Hauth.
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr. called the meeting to order at approximately 7:00 PM.
INTERVIEW CANDIDATES
The following candidates were interviewed for an appointment to the Town Board to complete
the remaining two years of a four year term of the Board seat being vacated by Commissioner
Richard Simpson:

Mary Lois Bateman
Brian J. Lowen
Mariah G. McPherson
T. R. Magnuson
Kenneth Potts
Lee Rime, Sr. withdrew his name from further consideration.
After completion ofthe interviews, and by consensus, the board agreed to continue the
discussion ofthe appointment at the December 6th Board meeting.
ADJOURN
By consensus, the Board moved to adjourn at approximately 10:00 PM.
