AN ORDINANCE MIENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY.KNONN AS THE,ZONING ORDINANCE
OF RICIUMND, INDIPITA APPPOITED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of tho City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. IMREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953, Commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of Richmond, and.the Zone map made a part thereof, described and designated as
Suburban
,.the following -described territory in Center Township, Wayne County'
Indiana, to wit:
Being a part'of the Southeast Quarter of Section Twenty-one (21), Township
Sixteen (16) North, Range -Fourteen (14) East, in Center Towaahip, Wayne
County., Indiana,, and being more particularly described as followss
Beginning at a pointin the east line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
Twenty-one.(21), said point being three hundred forty-seven.and fifty hundredths
(347.50) feet, south of the point of intersection of said east line c--rich the
centerline of United States Highway,Number Forty (U.S.40)� and running thence,
from said beginning point, south, along the east line of said Southeast Quarter,
one hundred eighty-five and thirty hundredths (185.30) feet; thence west, three
hundred seventy-three and thirty-five hundredths (373.35) feet; thence north
zero (0) degrees and fifty (50) minutes east, one hundred fifty-one and sixty
hundredths- (151.60) feet; thence north -seven (07) degrees 1.mst', one hundred
five (105) feet; thence'north eighty-three-(83) degrees east, two -hundred
fifty-six (256) feet;.thence south one (01) degree and fifty-three. (53)
mi.nuten :rest, one hundred eight and.twenty hundredths (108,20) feet; thence
north eighty-seven (87) degrees and thirteen (13) minutes east, one hundred
thirty-three and -sixty hundredths (133.60) feet to the place of beginning,
containing -an area of two and seven hundredths (2:-07) acres, more or less.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and Intention hereof to change the use of said territory
.to General Business.

SECTION 2. It is.hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning Ordinance
and on the Zone map be, and the -same is hereby changed covering the above described
territory to General Business and that said territory and the use and.area thereof
be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordim' nee :hall be in full force and effect from and after its
passa#e, approval by -the Mayor and publications as by law required.
