AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $400.68 FROM GENERAL'FUND CASH
OPERATING TO BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY ACCOUNT J-17, SUPPLIES GENERAL;
TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $400.00 FROM GENERAL FUND CASH OPERATING TO CITY
CONTROLLER'S ACCOUNT B-11, Stationary and PRINTING; AND TO APPROPRIATE THE
SUM_ OF $400.00 FROM GENERAL FUND CASH OPERATING TO CITY CONTROLLER'S ACCOUNT
B-12, OTHER OFFICE SUPPLIES.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the -adoption
of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate
more money for the various functions of the City Government than was
appropriated in the annual budget, and,
WHEREAS, it has been-shovm that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be used for the purposes for which
appropriated, -
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
INDIANA
SECTION 1. That for the -expenses -of -the City Government and its institutions
for the year,endirig December 31, 19649. the following amounts of money are
hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the pur-
poses specified, said sums being subject to all laws governing the same.
Such amounts appropriated shall be held to -include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for said fiscal period, there are.here.by appropriated the
following specified 'amounts ,-to 'meet the extraordinary emergency hereby.

SECTION 3. That said unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced
in amounts as follows, and the same appropriated to the above named items:

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full.force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the
State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations..
