Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, George Carey, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Tom Turcketta and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) . Patricia Busch was not present , rs =M SHE© ULEbAPPCTiONSWONNOR H40- 20- 145 Dean and Marion Sarrasin, 383 Harwich Road, Map 55 Lot 126 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Diane Addison, My Generation Energy presented the application on behalf of the homeowners . ■ Installation of 24 black solar panels on the garage roof. ■ Chairman Trabulsie asked if having the panels placed on the rear dormer of the home would be an option as several of the committee feels this may be a better option . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to continue to the October 22, 2020 meeting . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H40-20446 Kathleen Davis, 15 Samoset Road, Map 85 Lot 131 Screened in Porch ■ Matt Eldredge, Contractor on behalf of the homeowner discussed the project with the committee . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Stairs will have risers . ■ Horizontal ( 2 " ) lattice painted white will be placed on the front and side of the porch to cover the open space from the ground to the bottom of the porch . ■ No plexi glass will be used . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor . 3 I Ile VIA P: m IR _ I I 1 I i 1 i i i Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of October 1, 2020 Meeting H- 10- 20447 Sue Ann Corrigan, 0 Loon Lane, Map 126 Lot 39 Single Family Dwelling ■ Susan Ladue, Eastward Companies presented the application on behalf of the homeowner . ■ Ms . Ladue noted that if gas is not available, an underground propane tank will be used . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H40- 20448 Robert and Judith Boucher, 164 Main Street, Map 6 Lot 20 Vinyl Siding ■ Judith and Robert Boucher represented themselves . ■ Mrs . Boucher read into record a letter she had written to the committee . ■ Chairman Trabulsie reiterated that this application is being heard as a new application and the objective is to determine if the vinyl siding is appropriate in the Historic District . ■ Carol Appleton moved to deny this application . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H40-20449 Barry and Linda Hutchinson, 1274 Long Pond Road, Map 84 Lot 48 Farmers Porch ■ Owner Barry Hutchinson attended the meeting . ■ Mr . Hutchinson noted that he is looking to add a farmer' s porch to the mid -section of his home . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to approve with the following amendments . o Use 6" columns with the base and caps trimmed o Balusters will be square with a size of 1 %" o Stairs will have risers ■ Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . Leddy noted that there will not be propane on this property, therefore a tank will not be required . ■ Windows will not be mulled . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept .
