AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OR.DLiUNCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNO1vV AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF RICH141OND INDIANA APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDALTED by the Comrion Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana..
SECTION 1, Z�EMREAS, Ordinance No. 147241953, Commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of Richmond, and the Zone map made a part thereof, described and.designated as
Residential A. the following described territory in ::_Riohuiond. -,: Mayne County,
Indiana, to wit:
"Being a part of the Northeast and southeast Quarter's of Section Twenty
(20), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) West, in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of section
twenty (20), township fourteen (lei.) north, range one (1) west, and
running thence north, four hundred-ninety-five.(495) feet along the
east line of the northeast quarter; thence west, four hundred (400)
feet; thence south parallel with the east lines of the northeast and
southeast quarters, two thousand two hundred ninety-six and seventy-
eight hundredths (2296,78) feet; thence eastffour hundred (400) feet,
to the east line of said quarter; thane north, -one thousand eight
hundred one and seventy-eight hundredths (1801,78) feet,�along the
east line of the southeast quarter to the place of beginning; ALSO
Bung a part of the Northwest and Southwest Quarters of Section
Twenty-one (21), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range One .(1) west,
in the City of Richmond, Indiana, and being more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of section
twenty-one (21), township fourteen (14) north, range.one (1) west, and
running thence north along the west line of the northwest quarter, five
hundred fifty and fifty-five hundredths (550.55),feet; thence east
four hundred (4.00),feet; thence south, parallel with the west lines
of the northwest and southwest quarters of said section, two thousand
five hundred ninety-six and fifty-five hundredths (2596.55) feet;
thence west four hundred (400) feet to the west line of the south-
west quarter; thence north, along said west line, two thousand forty-six
(2046) feet to the place of beginning."
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said territory to
Local Business.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning Ordinance and on
the Zone map be, and the same is hereby changed covering the above described territory
to Local Business and that said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated
accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from tend after its passage,
approval by the Mayor and publications'as by law required.
