AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $220,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE BUILDING
FUND FOR STORM SEWERS FOR.THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM�SEWERS FOR SURFACE
WATER DRAINAGE.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the
adoption of the existing.annual-budget so that it is now necessary,to
appropriate more money for the various functions -of the city government
than was appropriated in the annual budget;.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE -COMMON COUNCIL -OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA:
SECTION I.. That.for the expense's of the city government and its
institutions for -the year -ending December 31, 1964, the following amount
of money is'hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and
for the.purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all,laws governing
the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held.. to include. all expendi-
tures authorized to be made during.the year, unless expressly stipulated
by law.
SECTION 2. That. for the said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated
from the Cumulative Building Fund for Storm -Sewers; the following specified
amount to meet the extraordinary emer-gency hereby declared to exist:

SECTION 3. This -ordinance shall be in,full force:and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the -Mayor and'is:,subject.to the laws
of the State'.of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
