HomeMy Public PortalAbout020-2019 - Zoning - 2701 & 2707 William...strial Commercial to InstitutionalCOMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA ORDINANCE No: 20--2019 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS FROM INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL (IC) DISTRICT TO INSTITUTIONAL (IS) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain properties commonly known as 2701 Williamsburg Pike and 2707 Williamsburg Pike, and each legally described as follows, to wit: 2701 Williamsburg Pike: E & N DIV W 1 /2 NE SEC 21-14-1 4.98A 2707 Williamsburg Pike: PT SW SEC 19-14--1 3.661A *TIF* each as an Industrial Commercial (IC) District, as described on Exhibit A, with an additional map included as Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change both zoning designations to an Institutional (IS) District in order to allow proper zoning for building a church and a church --related ministry. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designations for the above described properties are each changed to an Institutional (IS) District.
