TOP COURSE PAVING
COMMON SREET
COMMON STREET, FROM MT. AUBURN STREET TO ORCHARD STREET
SPRING STREET, FROM COMMON STREET TO MARION ROAD
The Common Street project is scheduled to install top course paving on Common Street starting on Tuesday,
September 8th. Work is anticipated to begin at Orchard Street and proceed towards Spring Street.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change based on weather, availability of asphalt trucks, production,
etc. It is possible for the work to be ahead of or behind schedule.
`No Parking' signs will be posted along the area selected for road work. Please do not park your car in the
posted area. Due to the need to allow the pavement to cool to ensure quality control, parking restrictions and
road closures will be strictly enforced during this phase of the work. The Watertown Police will be
informed of the construction and its effects. Typical hours of construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Middlesex Road abutters: Due to the work limits, you will not have street access, please plan accordingly by
parking outside of the work area if vehicle use is needed.
Residents within the work area are advised that driveway access will also be prohibited during the paving
process to allow the asphalt to set. Please park any vehicles outside of the work area.

The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects, including the need for extended on -
street parking due to driveway repairs.
