ORDINANCE NO. 23-2019
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2019 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year
2019 on October 15, 2018, with Ordinance 46-2018; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out
in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the
approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the 2019 budget be amended as follows:
A. Local Road and. Street (0706)
1. Delete $ 55 000.00 from
Local Road and Street 0706-0524-202-2363 (hot/cold mix)
2. Add $ 55,000.00 to
Local Road and Street 0706-0524-502-4331 (street improvements)
Passed and adopted this day of 2019, by the Common council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
