AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2011 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year
2011 on September 30th, 2010 with Ordinance 26-2010; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major budget
classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out
in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the
approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the 2011 budget be amended as follows:
A. Motor Vehicle Hi _ghway
Delete $90,000.00 from Contractual Services
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.3990
2. Delete $15,000.00 from Contractual Concrete
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.3993
Add $90,000.00 to Other Equipment
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.4490
4. Add $10,000.00 to Salary and Wages — Temporary
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.1197
Add $5,000.00 to Overtime
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.1302
Passed and adopted this 2Is' day of November_ 2011, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana.
