PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
C-3 SEWER OPERATOR
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret determined that
there exists within the Borough a need for a C-3 Sewer Operator; and
WHEREAS, the employment of a C-3 Sewer Operator is a professional service
pursuant to the provisions of N. J. S.A. 40A:I 1-5 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds within the 1999 Temporary Budget for this
purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that
ALEXANDER BIEL~ JR.
and the same is hereby designated as C-3 Sewer Operator for and on behalf of the
Borough of Carteret for an annual fee in the amount of Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appointment is made as a professional
service under the provisions and pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law NJ.S.A.
40A:l 1-1 et seq., and that a notice of this action shall be printed once in the Home
News Tribune on January 26, 1999.

Principal office at the Borough Hail 61 Cookc Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey,
As per Resolution Number 99-31.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following
Professional Service for C-3 Sewer Operator.
Not to exceed: $12,000.00.
According to the terms set tbrth in Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunder set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
seals to be hereto affixed, the day and year written above.
