Brighton Substation Project
Construction Update - Roadway Restoration
As part of our everyday effort to deliver safe, reliable, energy to our customers and communities, Eversource is
preparing to complete the Brighton Substation Project. This project is one of several designed to improve the
reliability of the electric system serving the Greater Boston area where we all work and live.
What to Expect
Beginning Wednesday, June 26, crews will be milling portions of Arsenal and North Beacon Streets. This work
will occur between the hours of Sam — 4pm and will include portions of Arsenal Street from Beechwood Avenue
to Louise Street and portions of North Beacon Street from Louise Street to Charles River Road. Arsenal Street
and North Beacon Street will remain open during the milling process, but drivers should expect traffic delays.
Louise Street, Frank Street, and Beechwood Avenue will be open to residents only. For access between North
Beacon Street and Arsenal Street, vehicles will use Irving Street.
During this phase of restoration, parking restrictions will be in place from Sam — 4pm and will be posted in
advance. Due to weather or other unexpected circumstances, work hours may be extended, or work may be
performed on alternate days.
