HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 8/9/1971��09 The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on August 9, 1971, with Mayor Ross presiding and Councilmen Hippen, Eckhoff, Huisman, and Claassen present. There being no objections, the Proposed 1972 Budget was adopted on a motion by Huisman, seconded by Eckhoff. Roll call of votes: Ayes-Hippen, Eckhoff, Huisman, Claassen. Nays -None. Absent- V��an Deest. Carried. On a motion by Eckhoff, seconded by Huisman, a resolution to accept the proposed plat of certain real estate owned by L. Gene Blythe and Alvin John Blythe to be known as Blythe's Addition to the Town of Wellsburg was accepted with the stipulation that Section 54.3, Subsections 1,2, and 5 would not be waived as per Code of the Town of Wellsburg. Carried. A motion was made by Huisman, seconded by Hippen to allow for pay- ment the following bills: Aeilt Terfehn, net salary ��G364.54 Herman DeVries, net salary 364.54 Henry J.
