INTERSECTIONS; CHAUNCEY STREET
The final paving for the Hosmer Safe Routes to School project is scheduled for Saturday, May 11. Work
is scheduled to begin at 7:00 AM.
The work area will be closed to motor vehicle traffic during this paving process. Please park your motor
vehicles out of the construction area on the intersecting side streets if necessary.
Please do not park your car on your street or on your driveway to avoid being blocked in during the
construction. Vehicles not removed from the street by 7:00 AM, will be towed, per order of the
Department of Public Works. The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects.
We understand that the process is noisy, messy and disruptive and apologize in advance for
inconvenience you may experience. We appreciate your cooperation as weather conditions have
delayed this portion of the work. We know you will enjoy the improved appearance and condition of your
roadway for many years in the future. Should you have any questions, please call the Scott Leisey,
MassDOT Inspector, at 781-853-8471.
Sincerely,
