AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY CODE TO CLASSIFY
CERTAIN LAND WEST OF
COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY
101 AND NORTH OF STATE
HIGHWAY 55
The city council of the city of Medi-
na ordains as follows:
Section 1. Amendment of the City
Code. The Zoning Ordinance of the
City Code of the City of Medina, Min-
nesota, is hereby amended by
changing the classification on the
City of Medina Zoning Map from UC
(Urban Commercial) to PUD (Plan-
ned Unit Development) with respect
to the 42.85-acre parcel, legally de-
scribed in Exhibit A attached hereto
(the "Property").
Section 2. Findings and Conditions.
a. The development plan is compat-
ible with the standards, purposes
and intent of the PUD ordinance.
b. The development plan is consis-
tent with the goals and objectives of
the City's comprehensive plan.
c. The rezoning is contingent upon
the approval of the PUD general plan
and preliminary plat.
Section 3. Effective Date. The City
staff is authorized and directed to
publish this ordinance rezoning the
Proper; from Urban Commercial to
Planned Unit Development upon sat-
isfaction of all the above terms and
conditions.
Adopted by the city council of the
City of Medina this 3rd day of May,
2005.
