IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Dear Residents and abutters of Hunt Street:
Laboratory testing for water quality of the new water system piping has been completed.
The Department is now approving activation of the water line.
A representative from the Town's Engineering Firm, Weston and Sampson and our
contractor, C. Naughton Corp, will need access to each property to connect to the new
water main. Access to the basement will be required to complete the connection.
Homeowner approval and entry into your property will begin tomorrow, Wednesday,
October 3, 2018 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. If this time frame is
inconvenient, please contact the contractor's coordinator, TJ Shea at 781-563-0451 for
an appointment.
During this time the contractor will be accompanied by a Public Works representative
wearing a lime green safety vest labeled "Public Works" and will have a vehicle labeled
Public Works in very close proximity to the houses being entered.
Upon completion of this task general excavation of the water main will commence. We
would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.
