A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY
OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE DONATIONS
W IEREAS, The City of Richmond, Indian a, has the option of accepting o r rejecting
donations for a specific purpose; and
VVIU REAS, The acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation
of such property for the intended purpose; and
VaIEREAS, The Richmond Finance Department wishes to seek donations for the 2019
Employee Health Fair and Employee Recognition events ; and
ViBEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City of Richmond to permit the Richmond
Finance Department to seek and accept donations for said events.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that all donations submitted to the Richmond Finance Department for the 2019
Employee Health Fair and Employee Recognition events to be held during the 2019 calendar
year, shall be accepted and gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond.
Passed and adopted this`Sday , 2019, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
