PUBLIC NOTICE
The city council of the city of Medi-
na has adopted Ordinance No. 385.
The ordinance establishes a fran-
chise between Medina and Cen-
terPoint for the transportation, distri-
bution, manufacture and sale of gas
energy in the city for a period of 20
years. The franchise grants Cen-
terPoint the right to use the public
ways and public grounds to place fa-
cilities used to serve customers with-
in the city. The franchise establishes
the terms and conditions of use of
the public property by incorporating
terms from the city's right-of-way
management ordinance. The fran-
chise also authorizes the city to re-
quire a franchise fee from Cen-
terPoint. The city's franchise fee au-
thority is preserved in this franchise
but must be exercised by adoption of
a separate ordinance. The full text of
Ordinance No. 385 is available for in-
spection at Medina city hall during
regular business hours.

said newspaper, and was printed and published
once each week for 1 successive weeks; it was
first published on Monday, the 20th day of June
2005, and was thereafter printed and published
on every Monday to and including Monday, the
20th day of June 2005; and printed below is a
copy of the lower case alphabet from A to Z,
both inclusive, which is hereby acknowledged
as being the size and kind of type used in the
composition and publication of the notice:
