RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO DAJON
ASSOCIATES, INC.
WHEREAS, Dajon Associates, Inc. ("Dajon") installed temporary shoring at the
Borough's Library/Community Center Project (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, said shoring could not be removed until such time as permanent
shoring was installed; and
WHEREAS, due to the immediate need that existed at the time of the installation it
could not be determined how long the temporary shoring was to remain in place, and
therefore an amount for the temporary service could not be established; and
WHEREAS, permanent shoring has been installed and the temporary shoring may
now be removed; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") is responsible for the monthly
cost of the shoring commencing July 1, 1998 and ending January 31, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that payment to Dajon in the amount of $3,500.00 is hereby
authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this service was rendered without competitive
bidding in that the amount involved is below the bid threshold.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 22, 1999.
