Residents and Abutters of Knowles Road, Whitcomb Street and Holly Street:
The Watertown Department of Public Works would like to inform you that our
contractor, Newport Construction will be starting work on the above listed streets,
weather permitting, on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The first phase of construction
work will be the replacement of old iron water services and fire hydrants at
various locations on Knowles Road and Whitcomb Street. During this phase road
structures will be dropped in preparation for road reclamation
You will be notified as future phases of road work is scheduled.
`No Parking' signs will be distributed along the area selected for road work. Please
do not park your car in front of the marked area in front of your residence during
construction. The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its
effects. Typical hours of construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We understand that the process is noisy, messy and disruptive and apologize in
advance for inconvenience you may experience. We know you will enjoy the
improved appearance and condition of your roadway for many years in the future.

Resident and Abutters of Hovey Street:
Your road has been selected for roadway improvements consisting of full depth
reclamation of roadway including concrete sidewalks, granite curbing and grass
borders.
Reclamation of the road is scheduled to start; WEATHER PERMITTING,
Thursday June 22, 2017. Prior to reclamation, road crews will be lowering street
castings. The Public Works Department will make every reasonable effort to
inform you of various aspects of this road construction prior to each process
commencing.
'No Parking' signs will be posted along the area selected for road work. Please
