DRIVEWAY APRON REPAIR
Dear Knowles Road and Holly Street Resident:
Weather permitting, the Public Works Department, through its road contractor, Newport
Construction, have scheduled driveway repair work to commence in front of your property
beginning on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
The work involves removing the existing driveway apron and installing wooden sidewalk forms.
The pouring and finishing of the concrete is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2017.
While work is ongoing, you will not have access to your driveway. We ask that you kindly
move your car by 7:00 AM and park it out of the work area. Please note that driveways may
remain closed up to three days to allow the concrete to cure.
Adjustments necessary to make driveways ADA compliant may require minor regrading of
areas beyond that back of the driveway.
The Watertown Police has been informed of the work, including the need for extended on -
street parking due to the driveway repairs.
