IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Main Street between Chestnut Street and Church Hill
Street,
The Department of Public Works would like to inform you that we and utility contractor
Environic Solutions will be working, WEATHER PERMITTING Thursday November 18,
2021 to perform utility work prior to the demolition of 166 Main Street. To complete this
work it will be necessary to do a shut down of the water system.
Water service will be shut down on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This work may
cause discoloration of your water. Please make arrangements to store water for drinking,
cooking and cleaning during these hours. The Department will try to minimize the
amount of time that service will be discontinued to perform this work.
All work will follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
