IMPORTANT NOTICE
NIGHT WORK
November 9, 2018
Dear Residents of Main Street;
The Department of Public Works and Eversource will be milling and paving Main Street,
WEATHER PERMITTING, on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 and Wednesday, November
14, 2018 on Main Street from the intersection of Waverley Avenue (including Waverley
Avenue) to Whites Avenue as interim repairs from the recent Eversource oil spill. Work
hours are from 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM with milling scheduled on Tuesday and paving on
Wednesday.
One lane of travel in each direction will be maintained, however, delays should be
expected. Please park your motor vehicles out of the construction area on the intersecting
side streets if necessary.
Please do not park your car on the street during the milling or paving process. Vehicles
not removed from the street by 5:00 PM, will be towed, per order of the Department of
Public Works. The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects.
We understand that the process is noisy, messy and disruptive and apologize in advance
for inconvenience you may experience. We know you will enjoy the improved appearance
and condition of your roadway for many years in the future.
