NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
MT. AUBURN STREET AND COTTAGE STREET
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONDUIT INSTALLATION
August 15, 2017
Dear Residents and Abutters of Mt. Auburn Street and Cottage Street:
This Watertown Department of Public Works notice is to inform you that Lightower Fiber
Networks will be starting construction to install a new PVC (plastic) telecommunications
(telecom) conduit along part of Cottage Street at the intersection of Mt. Auburn Street.
You are receiving this notice since you are an immediate abutter to the project area. The
project will include construction activities such as excavation and backfilling, paving, services
renewals, restoration of disturbed surface areas, traffic control, and site cleanup.
Rosciti Construction Company of Johnston, RI will be will be performing the work on behalf of
Lightower Fiber Networks and are responsible for excavation, backfilling and restoration.
Work is proposed to begin on Sunday August 20, 2017 and is anticipated to be completed on
Monday, August 21, 2017. Final cleanup and paving restoration activities will be necessary.
Work hours on Sunday and Monday will be between 9:00am and 3:00pm. There may be dust
and/or noise generated by the work and minor traffic / detour inconveniences. No existing
utilities be disrupted during this construction.
