A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE IMPERIAL HIGHWAY MEDIAN ISLAND FENCE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PROJECT NUMBER 4011:67.916 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on February 21, 2012, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the Imperial Highway Median Island Fence Improvement Project; Project No.
4011.67.916 contract to Encorre Services, Inc. in the amount of $54,800.00; and
WHEREAS, the project started on April 16, 2012 and was completed on June 1,
2012; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $61,815.91; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on June 4, 2012
and found that all _work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Imperial
Highway Median Island Fence Improvement Project; Project No. 4011.67.916 as
complete in accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to
process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 th day of August, 2012.
