A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE INSTALLATION OF SYNTHETIC IVY ON IMPERIAL HIGHWAY FENCE,
PROJECT NUMBER 4011.67.916 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on April 17, 2012, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Installation of Synthetic Ivy on Imperial Highway Fence; Project No. 4011.67.916
contract to Dash Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $29,400.00; and
WHEREAS, the project started on June 7, 2012 and was completed on June 8,
2012; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $29,400.00; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on June 11, 2012
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Installation
of Synthetic Ivy on Imperial Highway Fence; Project No. 4011.67.916 as complete in
accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the
recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 th day of August, 2012. .
