A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING A PURCHASE ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,859 TO ELECTRIC
CAR SALES & SERVICE INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO ELECTRIC CLUB
CARS FOR THE RECREATION AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE DIVISIONS
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase vehicles for its fleet that are modern
and all electric; and
WHEREAS, there is adequate funding in the Garage Fund to cover the
purchase order of the electric club cars.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That per the Lynwood Municipal Code Section 6 -3.13, 2, the City
Council authorizes staff to issue a purchase order in the amount not to exceed $27,859
to Electric Car Sales & Service Inc., for the purchase of two electric club cars:
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
Section 3. That this Resolution becomes effective immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7` day of August, 2012.
