A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $106,000 OF' THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY PARK MAINTENANCE
FUNDS TO THE IMPERIAL HIGHWAY MEDIAN FENCE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. 4011.67.916
WHEREAS, on August 16, 2011, the City Council authorized the use of
$100,000 of the 2011 LRA Bond proceeds to fund the Imperial Highway Median Fence
Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.916; and
WHEREAS, the project was completed at a final cost of $105,364.57 and
payments of contractors' invoices are now due; and
WHEREAS, the recent dissolution of Redevelopment Agencies state -wide has
resulted in the ineligibility of said LRA Bond funds; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified the available Los Angeles County Park
Maintenance funds that can substitute for the LRA Bond funds; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approve the funding source substitution for the
Imperial Highway Median Fence Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.916.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

TO:
Imperial Hwy. Fence Improvement
Project No. 4011.67.916
$106,000
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 th day of August, 2012.
