IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Mount Auburn Street, between Irma Avenue and Dexter
Avenue. The Department of Public Works would like to inform you that we and our
contractor Commonwealth Construction & Utilities, Inc. will be working, WEATHER
PERMITTING, Thursday April 23, 2020 to replace a fire hydrant and gate valve on your
street.
Water service will be shut down on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This work may
cause discoloration of your water. Please make arrangements to store water for drinking,
cooking and cleaning during these hours. The Department will try to minimize the
amount of time that service will be discontinued to perform this work.
All work will follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
