Last Household Hazardous Waste Collection for 2018
Last Household Hazardous Waste Collection for the 2018 calendar year will take place on Saturday,
November 3, 2018 at the Minuteman Household Hazardous Products Facility at 60 Hartwell Avenue
from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This event is free of charge to Watertown residents. Watertown residents must bring identification or
proof of Watertown residency to participate in a collection event. Household Hazardous Waste
Collections will resume in April 2019.
Certain materials are not accepted as household hazardous waste at the event. Please view the list of
acceptable and unacceptable materials on the Health Department website at htips://www.watertown-
ma.gov/832/Household-Hazardous-Waste.
Please remember these safety tips: ensure waste containers are secured for transport; never mix
chemicals; store different items in different boxes; always leave materials in their original containers;
and do not smoke while handling or transporting materials
