Chairperson Coulson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. This is a continued
Hearing from the Jan. 19`" meeting to review a variance request by George Swift for a
height variance. Board present were Boudreaux, Frye and Sumrall. Staff present were
Reid and Winter.
Swift presented new drawing of a roof line that brings the building at a height of 39',
however the architecture feature of the tower as shown on one of the drawing brings that
portion to 48 feet.
Swift and Ashbaugh have met to discuss the height and look at the site as it relates to her
concerns as a property developer near the site. Ashbaugh is satisfied with the proposal.
Two letters from the public were presented for the record voicing concern about granting
the height variance.
After lengthy discussion Frye made a motion that all 6 issues were satisfied and to grant a
height variance of 42 feet for all structures, 2°d Boudreaux, carried unanimously.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
