IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Nichols Avenue,
The Town of Watertown has contracted the services of D'Allessandro Corporation to repair the
sewer system in your neighborhood on Nichols Avenue between Arlington Street and Bigelow
Avenue. This work is part of ongoing efforts by the Town to improve the sewer system
infrastructure throughout Watertown and is scheduled to begin Thursday, July 13, 2017. The
method of repair will require the Contractor to replace the sewer pipes by excavation methods.
Driveway access may also be interrupted during the construction period. Please seek alternate
parking arrangements for daytime working hours and the Police Department has been notified
of the construction work in the area.
The Contractor will attempt to accommodate all residents to minimize the impact during
construction.
Please be aware that "No Parking" signs will be posted approximately 24 hours prior to work
banning on street parking and the contractor is scheduled to begin the work next week. The
date and time frame of the "No Parking" ban will be identified on the posting.
