ROADWAY PAVING
Orchard Street Extension & Spring Street (Common Street to Marion Road)
Dear Residents and Abutters of Orchard Street Extension and Spring Street:
Due to weather conditions, the binder (first) course of paving is rescheduled, WEATHER
PERMITTING, for Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Parking restrictions will be strictly
enforced during this phase of the work. The anticipated work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00
PM.
Residents should know that access to their driveways may be prohibited for most of the day
during the paving operation. If you plan to drive your vehicle while paving is scheduled in
your area, please park it outside the construction area to avoid oil spray or other
complications. Please note that the oil and asphalt used during construction is not easily
removed from feet, shoes, floors and rugs.
We understand that the process is noisy, messy and disruptive and apologize in advance
for inconvenience you may experience.
