WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT
AFFECTED AREAS: PHILLIPS STREET

Dear Residents and Abutters of Phillips street:
The Watertown Department of Public Works, through its contractor, C. Naughton Corporation, will
be continuing the ongoing Water Main construction work on Phillips Street. WEATHER
PERMITTING, beginning Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The scope of work will include installation of
permanent pavement for water utility trenches and miscellaneous other work in the roadway and
sidewalk.
During the course of this work, you may experience inconveniences to vehicular travel and parking.
On -street parking will not be allowed near the work area during this period; however, access to
driveways will be maintained at all times. Roads around the work area will be closed to through
traffic.
The expected work hours on Phillips Street are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
